Where do I even start on the epicness that this wedding weekend was! Julie and Brent are the most amazing couple and I was so very fortunate to photograph their wedding! Also a big bonus, my husband was my second shooter and was incredible! I still can’t get over some of the amazing images he captured!

Julie and Brent’s wedding festivities started on Thursday evening with their welcome event including a roof top view, amazing drinks and the board game Smart Ass. Everyone had such a great time and it was clear very quickly how important Julie and Brent were to so many close friends and family. I knew from the few times I had been around Julie and Brent that they were my kind of people and that we would have the most amazing time shooting their wedding, but I was wrong-it was 100x better than I had ever expected.

Their wedding was at the Unico 2087 in Riviera Maya, Mexico and was incredible! Being my first international wedding, I must say that this has really set the bar high for any destination weddings in the future. It was the perfect combination of people, settings, and all the right vibes. I was in portrait heaven and could’ve spent the entire day just taking bride and groom portraits alone. Everywhere I looked was the most epic location. I didn’t even notice the heat, or the sweat, or that my shoulders were getting sunburned.

On top of their wedding events, Julie and Brent made sure to invite us along to their catamaran excursion! It was so fun and we snorkeled and had the best ceviche of my LIFE!! They made sure we had a great time and were always so thoughtful and made us feel like guests!

Will and I(my husband/second shooter) just love Julie and Brent and we are so excited to become friends and hang in the future! They were even sweet enough to come to our daughters 1st birthday party a few days after they returned from Mexico! Can’t wait for Brent and Will to play golf while Julie and I cruise around on the golf cart!

Cheers to this awesome couple!!
