This past Saturday, I shot my first Greek wedding and it did not disappoint!! The day was full of love and traditions, friends and family, and it was one beautiful day that I’m so glad I had the opportunity to photograph!
When I first met Chrystyna and Wes, they immediately struck me as such genuine, nice people who were so in love. I could tell Wes was willing to do anything to make Chrystyna happy and he was so cool with anything she wanted. Chrystyna was so calm and chill when talking about her wedding day and I knew it was going to be a great day to capture!
The day started at the reception location-a dear friend of theirs who opened up her home to them and put on a full wedding reception-which included turning her entire backyard to the reception area. A stage was created for the band, the pool got covered for where the tables and chairs went, the entire house was decorated with beautiful florals, and the owners vintage golf cart got all jazzed up to act as their getaway car. Their church ceremony was so unique and interesting and there was so much history in all of the traditions that were performed. The church was absolutely gorgeous and it was hard to not get stuck in a daze starring at the beautiful architecture and artwork.
The families blended perfectly and there was so much love surrounding the entire day and through the night. I heard 2 of the best speeches during toasts that I think I’ve ever heard, and saw an amazing band perform that kept people on the dance floor the entire night.
Thank you Chrystyna and Wes for choosing me as your photographer, I was so honored!! Congrats!!
