Kristin and David got married at the beautiful Firefly Gardens in Midlothian, TX. It was a chilly day but this wedding sure did warm everything up! Kristin really does light up a room and has the most contagious smile and laugh-who easily brightened up everyone around her!! I loved witnessing and photographing that! I knew from the second I met Kristin and David early this year that they were amazing people and that this wedding would be one to remember!

The day started off with shooting all of the special details to capture the feel of the wedding day. Kristin has an incredible wedding ring and I think I spent too much time photographing it, but I couldn’t help it! I mean, LOOK AT IT!!! Soon after, I spent time with Kristin and her girls while they did their finishing touches and got into their gorgeous black bridesmaid dresses. Black bridesmaid dresses are always a classic choice! Kristin wanted to do a reveal to her girls wearing her wedding dress (which is one of my favorite moments of the day) and that was so special!! It’s so clear how important Kristin is to all her friends!!

Despite being pretty cold out, Kristin was a trooper and was totally cool with taking portraits outside! We did their special first look (which is always a great idea if you are reading this and thinking about doing one or not for your wedding). The majority of the day was overcast but as soon as their outdoor ceremony was about to start, the sun peaked out behind the trees. It was so perfect!! It warmed everything up a bit and made for some amazing opportunities for portraits!!

Their ceremony ended the night with sweet dancing and so much love! It was an honor to photograph this wedding!! Kristin and David congrats! I know you are reading this on a beach in Florida with the sand in your toes! I hope you enjoy these photos as much as you do your Florida views!!
